The Phenom's had not come out yet, and The P4 HT's had just come out.....\

Anyway. I want to get back into PC gaming, as I just really cannot deal with Console FPS's anymore. I made the sacrifice after my old PC died.

I only have about $600 Dollars to spend.

I would like to go with Intel this time.

What kind of performance/future proofing do you think i could get with this kind of a system?

I would mostly be playing games such as Battlefield 3/4 (when released) COD, etc....

Hey guys,

I'm looking to upgrade my current rig which consist of a
Intel Q9400 Processor
Gigabyte EP45-UD3P Motherboard
with 8 Gigs of CM2X2048-6400C5DHX
and a NVIDIA 9800GT 512
Powered by a NZXT Hale82 80 Plus Bronze ATX 850 Watt Modular Power Supply .

I was looking at the Intel Core i7 3770K 3.5GHz LGA 1155 Processor as my new processor.
With the Corsair Vengeance Series 8GB DDR3-1866 PC3-15000
where I am stumped at is which motherboard I should go with and which video card I should go with.
I was looking at EVGA SuperClocked 02G-P4-3662-KR GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express or the EVGA SuperClocked 02G-P4-2662-KR GeForce GTX 660 2GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express .
I was going to keep my NZXT Hale82 80 Plus Bronze ATX 850 Watt Modular Power Supply since I think it should power everything.
Any suggestions on the motherboard and video card would greatly be appreciated. I am looking to get into a more PC gaming as well as I do run photoshop and adobe premiere. My next investment will be a dual monitor setup but I need to go in baby steps.
Thanks
