Hey Folks,

What do you think would be the best solution for mounting the H80i in a Raven RV03 case? My initial thought was to keep it based on how the Raven is oriented - keep pushing the hot air up and out. But would it be better to leave the case fan at the top and have the rad pushing air out the back in the provided spot?

Also, to keep CFM up but noise down, would it be better to replace the (2)180mm penetrators w/ (3)120mm Corsair Silent series or Noctua fans?

Danke,
Drew

(Gosh - I have to update my pc info.. been a lonnnnng time.)

Imagine this... Asus P8H77-i Mini-ITX MoBo in a Fractal Node 304 case so the Mobo sits horizontal. Would it be a bad idea to not use the Backplate to a CoolerMaster 212 Evo. The MoBo has chips on the back that get in the way of the Backplate. :/

A little extra info, this machine is used as an ESXi box running a Video Render VM and FreeNAS VM so it doesn't get moved often but for the occasional upgrade and the Dusting.

Thoughts? Alternative Tower Coolers that would work?

Whao, this stuff seems like it pwnz even the best thermal pastes. Its not even a paste, it is a phase change sticker that melts when you burn it in after install, they temps drop magically way better then anything else. Its expensive though, 20 bucks for just 2 pads. But its well worth it, and they just realeased a version for FX series CPUS.

Anyone here try this yet? Im ordering me a pair along with a Vishera :)
