Curious as to what similar setups are benching at ? I have only found one web result where someone posted links to results actually run @ 2560x1440, so I thought I would ask here. I have Unigine Heaven downloaded, and that is the only one I can find that I can run at the aforementioned resolution. I am not looking to tweak for an OC/max FPS, I would be happy with a verdict of "looks good/not terrible numbers".

Cards themselves do allright. They are MSI GTX 670 PE, 1 oc's to 1228 core, and the other hits 1189 core (data comes from looking at Afterburner history file). I have tried playing with settings in Afterburner and nothing changes regardless of what I do with voltage sliders or set to unlock, so I leave it at default settings.

Please suggest some numbers or benchies I can try, which are downloadable, and free if possible. More than willing to compare here. brb with a Unigine Heaven 4.0 run.

2XAA and Extreme Tessellation, NVIDIA 320.14 beta, settings default + High Quality, Clamp LOD Bias, FXAA - ON

With NO AA, but same as above, numbers come out to :
FPS - 57.4
Score - 1446
Min/Max - 11.2/141.2

NO AA, No Tessellation :
FPS - 67.1
Score - 1689
Min/Max - 8.4/147

Looks reasonable, IF what I read about min on Unigine is true. Which is to say, it records a drastic FPS drop sometimes when loading textures (although I observed a drop on min from mid 40's to single digits in the last 2 secs of scene 24/26). Or in general, do you accept low min spikes when everything else looks decent? -note: Gfx Card mem stays at 3005.

Regards,

Chewie

I recently moved a work computer into my home office with the dual screen setup my work provided. I have a Mac Mini that I'd like to have sharing the same monitors for separate use off the clock. Is there a way to do this without constantly plugging and unplugging the monitors? I'd be willing to purchase whatever adapters were necessary.

Here is what I'm working with

Work Computer : Dell Optiplex 790 - 1 HDMI and 1 VGA
Personal Computer : Mac Mini - 1 HDMI and 1 Thunderbolt
2 Samsung SyncMaster 2443 - 1 DVI and 1 VGA each
1 dying succulent plant
Thanks everybody!

So a bit of a strange request but I'm after a laptop with multiple digital outputs (doesn't matter if they're HDMI, Mini DisplayPort, DisplayPort, DVI) that can output simultaneously but can be combined as one display like Eyefinity or Nvidia Surround. The goal is to have the two or more outputs reporting back to the OS as one long display (eg 3840*1080) that I can then run a PowerPoint presentation on. If this can be done in software, all the better. I don't want to use any of the Matrox triple/dual heads to do this. I want it to run directly from the laptop.

Hello All,

So I have a question regarding the PLX chip and GPU's.

Would the PLXchip being located on the GPU (GTX 690/HD 7990)be the same as a PLX chip being located on the Motherboard?

An example would if the HD 7990/GTX 690 is paired with a 1155 (future:1150 - Haswell) MB with one x16 PCIe 3.0, could you experience the same latency if you have 2 HD 7970's/GTX 680's being paired with a 1155 (future:1150) with two x16 PCIe 3.0's utilizing a PLX chip?

So 1155(1150) and a HD 7990/GTX 690 [GPU PLX] vs. 1155(1150) and 2 HD 7970's/GTX 680's [MB PLX].

Thank you in advance.

Putting a TITAN through it's paces and every time I attempt to run Heaven on DX11 the graphics freeze on the dragon wireframe loading screen. The music tells me it's loaded and hitting the F9 (Benchmark) resets the music indicating that something is still working. GPU is pinned to 100% even though the screen shows nothing. Alt-Tab does nothing (*can* alt-tab bit it doesn't fix/change anything).
Driver is 314.22
Any thoughts? Have I got a lemon?
At the first 2 months, the video card was working just fine. I installed The Sims 3, when I uninstalled it , my computer's video card broke. The first symptom was the computer keeps on restarting and freezing. I searched some threads to find out what was the problem, when I found out that it's the video card was the one causing all of the problem, I immediately disabled it and searched for diagnosis. I tried almost everything but none of them worked. I tried updating my video card driver, unistalling it and reinstalling it, fixing my directx and the cmd "expand nvlddmkm.sy_ to nvlddmkm.sys. But no luck, and everytime I enable my video card my computer freezes on startup or freezes on welcome screen. It's already been 6 months but I can't still find a solution. Plss. Help!!!!
