Criticool powerplant
I just recent bought one and it doesn't have any instructions on the wiring. I see a 1,2, and 3 next to the screw holes. Which is for which wire? Ground, positive and neutrual??? Thanks!

Download the instructions in PDF here:
Criticool Powerplant Item page here: Danger Den FS page GL :) |
I find ur post most distrubing, did u buy that item new? If so, demand some instructions..
|
i just bought one also and it came with absolutely nothing other than the unit itself. i had to go to their website to make sure i was wiring it up correctly. pretty lousy of criticool. how much would it cost to print 1 page of instructions, fold it in 1/2 and stick it in the stinking box???

The instructions are the least of those things problems, I'd raither it come with a ground wire then instructions.
|
now your just being rediculously picky!! want want want thats all i hear. :D
|
Just run the ground wire directly from the pump to the screw that fastens the criticool to the case using one of those crimp on terminal rings.
My criticool, at least, came with RTV silicone on all the high voltage pads/pins which is a good thing; no directions either (from DD). |

I dont think anyone got instructions, I know I didnt and did give me a pisser through the case when it earthed through the pc bellow.
They say they have a new version out soon with an earth and higher power ratings, sold as seen its a decent peice of kit though and lets face it, its just for those of us to lazy to set up a relay ourselves. |
Hey there,
I have the first powerplant right now and it came with no silicone on the back. I was on their website about 1.5 months ago and I saw they had some sort of backing on it. I e-mailed them and they sent me a backing right away...for free. Also I didn't have instructions either but I went to their website and the instructions were up there. Oh, and you are talking about a new version, I think it is out http://www.criticool.com/Powerplant.html cheers themodguy |
I believe it has a ground now also, from the latest review from systemcooling.
