Post your Aquamark 03 scores/setup
 

Well just like the titles says. I felt like doing this after having 1 3Dmark03 download not working, and the other not getting to mother nature. So my only means of comparing is on Aqua Mark 03.

Score: 39,158

XFX 5900XT clocked at 485/950 (same as 5950 Ultra?) (stock cooling)
AMD Athlon XP 2600+ (stock)
Kingston 512mb RAM (single stick) DDR PC2700

Aquamark3 is 100x better of a benchmark than 3dmark03 IMO.

Speed_Freak -

What type of cooling are you using to get those types of numbers out of your 5700Ultra.

I actually just slowed my card down a slight bit since I was playing HL2 leak and in a room, it appeared as if I was getting artifacts. I am not sure, as in Farcry I didn't notice any problems, but I don't want to risk anything on my new card with stock cooling.

Just the stock heatsink and ramsinks! :D

EDIT: I also removed the stock thermal paste, and put AS5 on there. It runs stable to 550/1030, but I took both down 10mhz to be safe.

Stats are in my sig, but I need to OC my card again, see what its new limits are with better case cooling and these ram sinks, and my dual channel memory, alteast.

Speed Freak- What program are you using to overclock.

coolbits refuses to let my card surpass 480/960 (stock 390/800).

Radeon 9500Pro @ 369/320 I think.


If you'll notice my CPU score is actually worse, and I think thats because of this stupid Ram I have, doesnt like to run at ultra 400 Level.

John - What tool do you use for overclocking your cpu . .. also, are you using stock cooling?

I have my xp2600+ and I would like to get it to arounf 2.2 to maybe 2.4 ghz. 1.9 just doesn't do it for me. Also I have already orderd more RAM, so now I will have 2x512 DDR 2700.

The RAM I ordered is actually 3200, but I made the mistake of buying pc2700 the first time around. So unless you guys know a way to overclock the one to 3200 speeds, then I will just have to be happy with what I have.

I am using coolbits. It allows me to go up to 550/1030, but if i wanted to go past that I could use rivatuner.

Becareful overclocking your card, mine is 475/906 stock. It also has 2.2ns DDR2 ram, which can overclock pretty well.

I bet the 512 mb of RAM I just bought will help my score a lot, I will update once I get it, and install it. If I could OC my XP 2600+ a little bit, that would be great, if anyone can tell me which program to use, that would be great.
