was using on-board, not sure of the codec on a 990FX R2.0? Drivers are solid, and yes great 3d through my headphones, I am very pleased with the purchase.

I seriously did not think an add in card would make a bit of difference. I picked it up at BB for $79, and am really impressed with the change in sound quality.

yeah I saw that, if the OP is using 25mm fans, that kit should work.

you can buy a mounting kit for the hydro series of coolers, it comes with screws for both the fans and the radiator.
