    According to the ATX power design guide two 12V rails are defined, 12V1 and 12V2.
    12V1 for ATX connector + molex, 12V2 for 4/8 pin 12V connector. This means a dedicated 12V rail for your CPU.

    yes I tested it with bios 1008. offset68 set to 40 runs stable on my system
    Will play with S2K settings later on, but I'll be away coming week so that will be when I'm back home.
