Some games are set up to allow dual core. Quake 4 is, maybe Doom 3 as well, but I can't say for sure. Hopefully Quake Wars will take advantage of that as well since it's from the same engine. ...

Yeah, mine runs around 2.5 ~ 2.6. That's why I'm not really concerned with the speed, just wanted a little extra on the hardware side.
