    might i first suggest you make a signature listing all your parts, and second what exactly you have installed on the board, having only a power supply as you state, you would get nothing, I am sure...

    Again you express that you are unsure of standoffs, you need to be absolutely sure. Its your choice as to resetting cmos, but i have got new boards that would not boot and resetting cmos has worked...

    I would say you have way to much thermal paste, generally accepted is half grain of rice in size. Also not being sure if the standoff's are correct, you may want to try it outside the case on the box...

    Thank you MrNovi, had not tried to reset since i changed cpu and psu, but worked this time. Also the 590 is different on its reset than the 939 and other boards, a short 5-10 secind reset works...
