After i set the BIOS to Optimized defaults, it'll boot with 1 or 2 sticks, in any slot, with everything hooked up to the board now.

Still have to unplug the PSU in order to get it to power on...
  4. Re: Biostar Geforce 6100-M9 Intermittent - then No Start

No, I checked it twice during install. And the computer works. As long as I unplug for a min.

I set the BIOS to Optimized Defaults", and it's booting consistently,...
  5. Re: Biostar Geforce 6100-M9 Intermittent - then No Start

I've got it back to posting ONCE, and then having to remove the power cord for 30 seconds.

I'll test this POS power supply.

    Re: SSD vs Ram

You can get both for half what you're budget is.

I'd try the SSD first tho.

  10. Re: Dual 24" Monitors - Need Video Card Advice ASAP Please!

Dual DVI Ports x 2, with Dual DVI Cables, should produce 3840x1200 across 2 x 24" 1920x1200 widescreen monitors.... right? I'm really hoping I have this hardware config correct, as I just finished...
  11. Re: Dual 24" Monitors - Need Video Card Advice ASAP Please!

They make some pretty nice monitors, at a great price point. I've had a Sceptre 20" widescreen for a couple years, and I love it.:D

OK, the card is Dual DVI, so I'm covered there.

    The Dell 24"...

FPS gaming is about skill and tactics, not spray and pray, or nade spamming - which is what a scoring system such as this would promote.

    Re: Energy Efficient PSUs

  17. Re: Soldier of Fortune: Payback Do you like the game?

    -There's no CD Key
    -No ingame chat in MP
    -No Anti-Cheat
The only thing that'll make this game any fun at all is if the modding community overhauls it. SOFII Dbl Helix was a blast, and I played...

Re: New build - possible problem with air flow.

Nice case you have there. :D

I guess NewEgg ships it from the closest warehouse to you that has the item you want. Or, for the same cost, they ship it out of a different warehouse where they have stock, so you'll get it ASAP.

    Re: online trading safely
