That's a really tough one, I played a LOT of games in 2014, and liked quite a few.

If I had to pick a game released in 2014, it would probably be Titanfall. Played it like mad when it dropped,...

Re: Your first PC Build ever?

To be honest I can't remember the exact nature of my first full on PC build, but it was in the early 80486 era, though I had "tinkered" with some 80386 based, Amiga HD, and other machines.

    I do...

    That's a really tough question...

Would I want a 4K display? Short answer is yes, but it's going to depend on a few things.

I will be upgrading my display, but first and foremost I want a...

Re: What Is the New GPU Standard?

I really don't think there is a single standard like there was back when Crysis came out, and that's a good thing in my humble opinion, since game performance can differ a lot from engine to engine....

Poll: Re: Game of the Month November 2014

This month has been an odd mix of games for me. I had to vote CoD:AW since it seems to have taken most of my time this past month, playing with friends.

    Re: Recent Purchases

    Building a low budget HTPC/Desktop ($400).

Few things I notice about Watch Dogs ...

    1. Even with the best mod applied, including the one with the modified textures, the textures themselves still seem very "console".

    2. The mod make all...

Believe it or not, it runs about the same, and even a bit better, if you use an "E3 mod" to enable all of the visual effects they disabled. That's how I run the game and it works surprisingly well....
