Hi Spanky,
These days I tend to run any needed Windows instances in a VM (vmware is still popular, and kvm is a great native choice too). Saving work off to a networked drive on the host allows...
We have seen this (or a very similar) issue on RHEL/CentOS too if folks run the latest Mozilla binaries for Firefox. (The native RHEL/CentOS packages are unaffected as they still run 3.0.x, and only...
Thanks Spanky :thumb:

Dang - looks like this crept into Fedora 9 some 2 years ago:

Hi folks,
Just looking for a little feedback from others here. It looks as if the behaviour of the output from 'uname -r' in Fedora has changed sometime recently (well, between F6 and F12), and...
hehe, sounds like they're beta testing this on Windows users :D
Still, we can do it manually (or even scripted):
init 3

Not on Java per se, only the Java plugin :)
In other words, Java applets should be able to find your installed Java just fine.

Hey, I just upgraded the storage on my main box last week - 2x1TB Samsung F3 disks in software raid1. Wow those things are fast.
Here's the old 320GB Samsung as a reference:
