  4. Chrome F@H NaCl - where have you been all my life

Hey guys, just stumbled on the Chrome client for F@H. Looks like it has been out for almost exactly a year, but I hadn't seen it before.

I fold at home every now and again but I have been trying...
  5. Re: Looking to build a work station what is your suggestions

I'll see if I can help you out. I will assume the $500-800 range does not include monitors? For a capable workstation we can utilize an APU so you don't need a discrete graphics card. So we'll base...

Re: MSI AM1I mPCIe card not working properly

Yeah I tried to hot plug but no luck. I guess the controller does not support or is not enabled for hot plugging. I thought that might initialise the drives on the controller or something and then...

Re: MSI AM1I mPCIe card not working properly

I have emailed MSI support, which by the way, have been responding really well. I get a response every day to my questions (time zones mean responses go overnight).

Re: MSI AM1I mPCIe card not working properly

There is only one bios released so far for this motherboard. Or do you mean firmware for the controller card? I haven't tried that.

Re: MSI AM1I mPCIe card not working properly

Yes, if no drives are attached to the controller card then the system boots fine. I have tried one drive at a time, on each of the ports, I have tried the hard drives on the on-board ports and they...

Re: MSI AM1I mPCIe card not working properly

BIOS is set to AHCI, but that is only for the onboard AMD controller, there are no settings for the add-in card. Since the card is AHCI and states on the website that it will only operate in AHCI...
