Noorman, are you just ceasing being a moderator, or moving on? I'd ask you and Jester to reconsider, but you sound like its an irreversible decision. I've noticed that forum activity has gone down...

  10. Re: "BigAdv" suspended under Linux; Windows tests begin

Looks like all the (-bigadv) units come from the same server, 171.67.108.22, regardless of A2 or A3. I'm still getting a variety of A3's, usually good for 12 ~14,000 PPD.
  11. Re: "BigAdv" suspended under Linux; Windows tests begin

I didn't have any issue with the A3 (-bigadv) units. If its only the A3's, why has Stanford stopped assigning the A2's? Units 2682 & 2683 were A2's, the only A3 I ever received was 2684.

    Re: i7 and Bigadv Wu's

Yep, I've gotten 4 or 5 of those. My i7-860 @ 3300MHz beats preferred deadline by 3~4 hours. (Its my main computer.) Its an A3 (-bigadv), so its uses threads vs. MPI. The 2682 & 2683's are A2's and...

Re: The SMP2 a3 core gets a speed boost on Linux

Yeah, its strange they got nothing but A3's for weeks, then all of the sudden, A1's started showing up. I do have (-advmethods) flag set. I'll do anything they send me, Stanford needs the units...
