So are they still officially in the mainboard market?
  2. Re: Tforce6100-939 Ram slots for dual channel

    Re: biostar T6100-939

You can use a full-size PSU and a full length optical drive if you use a $.99c right-angle molex connector. If you're going to use both optical bays, then I recommend you go shorty on one of them,...

    Re: Newegg/ TForce6100-939

I've just upgraded from the Jetway ATI 480 board, and as far as overclocking goes, the TForce beats it hands down.

Not only does this motherboard have built-in Memtest, it has a 3.2 VDIMM jumper...

    Re: Newegg/ TForce6100-939

Got my Opteron 146 to 2.9 Ghz with this board. Onboard sound is better than I thought it would be for not being the HD. This board reminds of DFI Lanparty Ultra-D, like its little brother or...

    Re: biostar T6100-939

Oh yeah, I ordered my Biostar T-Force from ZZF and it should be here monday. I'll be feeding it an Opteron 146 and water cooling it. Here's my worklog: ...

    Re: biostar T6100-939

I've built 2 Qpacks so far and I'm now building my third one. I haven't had any problems with the first two having the standoffs being off-center. Sounds like you got a bad tray.

Re: Review on the Chaintech AV-710

I loved mine when I had it, but my onboard Azalea on my Jetway A210GDMS-Pro mobo blows it away. Never thought I'd be content with X-530 speakers, but I am with this sound solution.

    Re: Future of Soltek

Although I can't say I've built hundreds of systems over the years, I have built quite a few, and Soltek has been my staple mainboard. What really bothers me now is the warranty support for my...

  18. Athlon 64 running XP-32 bit..........16 bit support?

I need hard evidence through weblink/online documentation stating whether an Athlon 64 CPU running on windows XP-32 bit (or even older OS) will support 16 bit applications. Thanks.

  20. Re: SL-NF4Pro-939 Anyone with any experience

I've been using the +5V rail and haven't had any booting problems whatsoever. I've been feeding my RAM 3.4 Volts for about 2 months now. I was using a Fortron Blue Storm. (I say was because that...
  21. Re: SL-NF4Pro-939 Anyone with any experience

I believe you can still get the moddable ones, you just have to scratch off the epoxy covering the contact points. Things may have changed but as far as I know, they're still moddable. One reviewer...
  22. Re: SL-NF4Pro-939 Anyone with any experience

RH, my board is modded for SLI, but I'm not actually using it as I have a Radeon card. The BIOS is overwhelming at first, but there are plenty of resources over at DFI Street to help you make sense...
  23. Re: SL-NF4Pro-939 Anyone with any experience

RH, unless you've got Hynix or other cheapie RAM, get the DFI (which will run fine at stock speed). I mean it's an OK board.........but the overclocking options are soooo limited compared to the...
  24. Re: Soltek SL-NF4PRO-939 any impressions?

I built a rig for someone and it's OK. The new BIOS lets you adjust up to 300FSB, up to 1.55 Vcore, and I think 1.8 VDIMM. It has your typical memory dividers. Frankly, I'm spoiled by my...
