Of course, running three 285's and a 950 at stock for a couple months now... should break a million here pretty soon!

    Re: EVGA Precision

It only flickers when I move the window around the lower half of the screen and in a downward motion. The windows installation is less than 4 days old, with the 185 WHQL drivers.

    Re: EVGA Precision

I disagree. Its great if one wants to adjust all cards at once in SLI, but if SLI is disabled, the settings for only one card are available. It also won't adjust settings for a PhysX card, or cards...

Re: Tiny problem with OCing i7 920

I know on the Gigabyte x58 boards there is a feature that will limit CPU voltage and multipliers when the CPU reaches a set temperature. I am unfamiliar with your ASUS board, but I'm willing to bet...

    Re: air cooling the i7

If you are looking for the D0 stepping, check the product code. It will be SLBEJ for the D0. I have all three variants of the TRUE 120, extreme, extreme-black and the copper(the copper is heaviest...

    Re: GRID GTX260 physics lag???

I have also had some weird issues with GRID. On a 9600gt low profile (not the low power version) there was no lag, but on 2X 285's in SLI the game would slow down and then run in fast forward...

    Prototype - Too much hype?

I've been hearing a lot of hype from all over about Prototype. I've watched the trailers, but I'm wondering if I'm just getting my hopes up. Will it live up to its expectations?

Well, I'm back from the dead! A little two week, work related hiatus.

Thanks for all the great responses. What I found was that re-installing folding@home-gpu and following Jester's directions...

    Re: Economic News/Discussion

Being in the military myself, I see first hand how stupidly wasteful the defense "industry" is. It makes me sick.

Take for example the F-22, it should have been cut a long time ago, this fighter...

    Re: Dell Optiplex 745 tower

    It's all good!

Re: petrolium jelly as thermal paste

Here is a little survival/camping tip:
Take one cotton ball and smother it in petroleum jelly.
    Add heat/sparks.

You now have yourself an all-weather torch that will last 2-5 minutes.
    Try it....
