Re: Which company provides best mobo support?

Epox have got awful support. Their tech support out and out lied to me when they said their 8RDA+ didn't use the +3.3v PSU supply!

I'm inclined to agree with you Bill, but I was seriously ticked when I saw this thread. Could you imagine OCZ giving him a job as a rep? I can't.

What Spec is your PSU? It may be that it cannot handle a 9700.

Re: The DFI Bar - Pheonix nights.

It has been pointed out to me that I have spelt Phoenix wrong in the thread title, oops.

Re: The DFI Bar - Pheonix nights.

Coors coming right up, haven't had one of them for a long time, it made me sick as a dog (no pun intended) last time I had it.

Bill, I'm using the CCB-A1C Iceberq, like I say, it is a tight fit,...

Re: LATE ARRIVAL - lanparty ultra B

I found no benefit with raising the Chipset voltage at all in my Infinity days. Infact, I actually found that it hurt stability at my maximum overclock. Have you tried putting a fan over the ram?

    Or,

Remove the stock Chipset heatsink, put it back in the box and use a Vantec Iceberq and AS5

Re: DFI LanParty NF4-D shut down problem

If you are able to get the bios on long enough, try bumping the Vcore and Vdimm (try 1.55v-1.6v and 2.9v respectivley) and see if that helps.

Re: Ultra Infinity - need fast ram- suggestions?

I suppose it could be possible that these BH UTT chips have the same Chipset/IC incompatability that late original BH-5 and NF2 ultra400s had. It might be better to go for the CH UTT sticks instead,...
