    While the comparison to PhysX wasn't the right one, OpenCL has a lot of support, Apple wrote the original proposal and it was then refined with the help of AMD, IBM, Intel and NVidia.

    I would try unplugging both optical drives, all four fans and anything else that is drawing power. Also make sure your video card is on a seperate cord from at least your HDD, preferably everything.
