Re: ATI x850xt platinum PCIE XPRESS

    Rebel900,

Great choice of pump & block, would suggest you order the jet kit & install the #4 jet.

For the GPU I'd suggest the Silverprop Fusion HL.

    Re: Storm/G4 CPU water-block

Hi guys, congrats on some great CPU blocks, one of the very best ever.

This thread served as a heads up for me, thanks. I contacted Cathar and asked about when the G5's will have a run. He...

    Re: Fans, rads and temps

As Jester said, fan blade design & pressure is far more important than free flow CFM rates or RPM.

If you'd like to see a really dramatic drop in your temps, get a pair of the new Delta 3 blade...
  5. Re: Buying an OC friendly A64. Is there any reason to buy anything greater than a 300

    [QUOTE=DrCR]

FYI, I'll be watercooling this system via Iwaki MD-20RZ and Storm G4. Though I'm tempted to just slap a Thermaright XP120 on there.

    Thanks,
    DrCR

    Congrats on some well...

Re: Upgrade to Athlon 64 or new video card?

I'd suggest a vid card as well. 6600 GT for $190

If you can afford a bit more & already have good clocking RAM, I'd get a DFI Infinity MB & a M-XP2600+ and overclock it to 2.5-2.65 as well. A...

    Thanks ekulya!

That is your 24/7 clocks? Max benchable?
  10. Post your water cooled O/C's of X800 & 6800!

    Like the title says.

Be nice to also post your GPU block & pump used.

Re: Max flow rate & how you'd get it?

Not just pumps, best choices for low resistence, but high cooling performance rads & best performing blocks for CPU & GPU, although I'm pretty well decided on blocks & while high performing are also...

    Hubris,

    Thanks for your response.

Here's what I've got in mind.

    MD20RLZT Iwaki pump 22ft. head & 180gph
    Fusion HL GPU block.

Max flow rate & how you'd get it?

    Like the title says.

What would you consider the best possible flow rate for extreme performance, and how would you build it? Pump, rad, blocks used ect.

    Thanks

    Re: Little Giant.. info needed

The specs are pretty good on the Little Giant for it's price. But noise is a issue with pumps we use. Not a slam of Little Giant, I only know of them from posts I've read. But based on that I...

    Re: Little Giant.. info needed

Would in fact be less than 1C I'd think. MD30 adds less than 1C and it's got a slightly higher draw.

What are the free flow and head rates of that pump?

Those two rads are so close in size and design that it'd be a hard job of testing to determine any differance as to performance from one to the other.

Re: overclocking from 2300 to 2500,2600?

Well first off, over 2600 doesn't make things to hot....depends on the cooling in use. With a stock sink 2400 will get hotter than a 2800mhz rig with good water cooling.

    And I promise you the...

  23. Re: Watercooling for the ultimate $1,500 system

Good advice. Most of all regarding the NB block, get a Swifty 159 instead does a great job at low noise & saves your water pressure/flow for where it's needed more.

And I just saw a thread...
  24. Re: Watercooling for the ultimate $1,500 system

No way socket 754 will last anywhere near 4 years. I expect they'll stop making new chips for it by the end of 2005, or early 2006.

939 should be around for at least long enough for you to do one...
