After i set the BIOS to Optimized defaults, it'll boot with 1 or 2 sticks, in any slot, with everything hooked up to the board now.
Still have to unplug the PSU in order to get it to power on...

I set the BIOS to Optimized Defaults", and it's booting consistently,...
I've got it back to posting ONCE, and then having to remove the power cord for 30 seconds.

Dual DVI Ports x 2, with Dual DVI Cables, should produce 3840x1200 across 2 x 24" 1920x1200 widescreen monitors.... right? I'm really hoping I have this hardware config correct, as I just finished...
They make some pretty nice monitors, at a great price point. I've had a Sceptre 20" widescreen for a couple years, and I love it.:D

The Dell 24"...
My Sis the Accountant / CPA would like a Dual 24" setup and a new computer. She deserves a kickass system.

I'll weigh in as a fan of the Logitech brand at the upper end of their line. Thundering bass with no distortion in sight, and great sattelite speakers that can handle highly dynamic passages with...

FPS gaming is about skill and tactics, not spray and pray, or nade spamming - which is what a scoring system such as this would promote.
3 of my Antec PSUs went south on me. TP2 430 had sagging rails - all kinds of trouble before figuring that out. Next my TP2 550 wouldn't handle the system in my specs. Handed that down to my Sis, as...

The only thing that'll make this game any fun at all is if the modding community overhauls it. SOFII Dbl Helix was a blast, and I played...
Nice case you have there. :D
Is the plexiglass riveted on there? You could always drill those out and replace the plexiglass, situating the fan hole to accomodate the CPU Cooler. More work and...
Bravo!
+1 vote for Sticky. :-)
I guess NewEgg ships it from the closest warehouse to you that has the item you want. Or, for the same cost, they ship it out of a different warehouse where they have stock, so you'll get it ASAP.

I tried running without a page file for 6 mos. or so, with no performance gain / loss. I...
RAID 0 is little performance increase over separate 250Gb drives without RAID, and you're doubling your chances of data loss due to drive failure with RAID 0. If secure data is a priority, use...
Sounds like he purchased 2 and wasn't impressed, so he declines to purchase more. Not very cryptic, really.
I snapped the SATA connector off a 36 Gb Raptor, and they replaced the drive, no problem.
Why waste your time? Just pick one up off eBay or pcper trading post. If you can't afford the prices offered in those venues, then you certainly can't afford to be ripped off.
