did you clean out all the old nvidia drivers? its also possible that the rating of the card is slower

it seems some programs take the default mutiplier rather than the one it is using, i am running 7x429 and some programs think im running 9x429

shutting the rthdcpl.exe doesnt affect the sound at all, it kills access to the reltak control centre for adjusting the sound effects etc

depends on the media, i think ive had about 5 coasters from about 30 burns, verbatim are the best DL media available

its no different to making any other dvd, nero should identify the disk as DL and put the half way point

im running that cooler on a q6600 and dont see higher than about 50c under full load of orthos running 2 instances with affinity set on each one, its not a bad cool but not brilliant
