Re: To our resident camera buffs...

Thanks for that. The reviews on the web have been mixed but I figured that as it wasn't very expensive and is quite a fast lens, that it should suffice :)

I'm just waiting for the Christmas sales...

Re: To our resident camera buffs...

Ok so for lenses, I was thinking of the 50mm F1.8 or should I get something with some versatility? The stock 18-55mm is average and I wanted something that I could shoot without a flash.

    Any...

Re: Do I Really need a Sound Card?

It depends on how much money and what sorta sound you are looking after:)

If I had to do it all over again, I'd probably just buy a USB DAC and run that into the HT/hifi setup.

    If you are...

I'm sure it is something we will look at. I've heard through the grapevine that some PC's are up and running with new passwords.

    A massive -up?

Still nothing at work. Using whiteboards to track patients and keep things in the loop. 10% of Lab services available. Very barebones medicine. It was chaos again at work.
