It was only a momentary jerkiness in the snow level when a pill box full of Germans spotted me and went ape $hit on me. But still....any jerkiness in unacceptable to me, so it's time to retire the GF2 Ultra......might as well go all out and get a Ti 4600 GF4.

Glad my system isn't the only one that gets beat up by the snow level. Too many trees..hehe. I too run 1024x768 with everything max'd and watch the framerate drop to the teens.

The 8500 has better performance & its now cheaper than that. I paid $161.95 but the tax & shipping brought it to $189.03

enpc nailed me for $13.31 shipping & its in NY as I am. Thats robbery right there.

    ultra

My Elsa gladiac ultra has been a beast and seems to run everything perfectly. Extremely stable, powerful and beats the GF3 ti200 by a tad. With a a ratio of 250/450 on the clocks i overclocked to 308/510.An amzing card!!!!!!!

Stick with Gf2 unless u r an avid gamer otherwise get the Gf3 ti500 as the gf4 is just unbelievably expensive. And dont even consider getting the Gf4 mx!!!!!!!Its shite!

Try Serious Sam #2 on that gf2 Ultra. I sold mine last October. Its mega fast in the older games but Max Payne & newer titles will "choke" it for sure. My Elsa did 315/510.
