This is my latest water cooled case project, an AMS Mid Tower, that I finally finished. I tried painting the drives to match the blue tint of the acrylic but couldn't get the desired effect so I repainted them silver instead. I'll probably do a window in the future, but it isn't my main PC so it can wait.

The reason the case appealed to me was the 120mm exhaust fan. I air cooled in this case for a week before it was converted to water and had moved the original 120mm exhaust fan to the front of case, replacing the original 80mm intake. Additional holes were drilled in the front cover that matched the original pattern of three rows of holes. The holes were later enlarged to 1/4" for more airflow.

The BIX wouldn't quite fit between the edge of case and the kickout that allows the angle where the expansion cards attach, so it stands off from the back of the case slightly with some closed cell foam filling the gap. It acts as a shroud extension to get the fan further from the core of the BIX. A 69CFM 120mm Panaflo is mounted on the rear outside of case.

I couldn't get the system to bleed using that small round DD reservoir in series, so I ended up putting a T in and used the res as a fill line/air trap. The flow would hit the sidewall and cause bubbles that would get recirculated through the system. The longer it ran, the worse it got.

It is a very quiet case. A full page of detailed small photos linked to larger ones can be found here.

Although many people don't like the look of this case, I thought it would be pretty cool for a watercooling setup. Maybe it will gain respect in some people's eyes. This is my first watercooled setup, runs pretty good. Only thing is that the inside is jam packed as you can see in the window. Serry for the huge size of the pics too.
