Hey wise!!

Typing this post from my first successfully operating LINUX station!!

Well, I suppose successfully depends on your point of view, but since this is my first Linux exposure, and considering I actually got connected to the net without having a clue what I was doing, I consider it a small victory. Mind you, my brother in law helped too.

Anyways, how goes it?? How's school?

which distro ?

i tried ot get SuSE 8.1 loaded on the dually but it was giving me trouble at installing the raid controller drivers...

school is going ok. midterm tomorrow.

its cold here too with blowing snow...

just finished up some grocery shopping and trying to get a DOD server up and runnin.

I was given Mandrake 8.1. Old, but I think I will upgrade to Mandrake 9.0 (also free). Until I get the hang of it. Then I hope to go to Suse too, that is what my bro in law bought, so I can bounce troubles off him!
