You mean Linux?? I have installed Mandrake 8.1, got the internet and email to work, but that is it. I am going to install 9.0 soon, as I hope it will be more "up to date". Man8.1 won't recognize my wheel mouse, or onboard sound or video (ECS K7S5APRO).

So far, I really have no opinion, it is SO different from MS. Yet, I want to learn it, so I will perservere. Another challenge is to get winex to work so I can play games, of course that assumes I can get my vid card and onboard sound to work.

LOL, I just went through my first dozen vernors!!!

It definitely has a different flavour, and the first taste was kinda like, "what is this", but after a few more sips, it grew on me, and I like it. Just I ran out and haven't got anymore.

glad you like it. it does take a bit to get used to...but once you do, and try to drink another ginger ale...well...you will see...

Ran out of vernors the first day I had some.

Haven't felt good since they messed with my pacemaker but I'm still kicking.

Hope ya feel better soon, Wise.

Nah, vernors didn't mess up the pacemaker. It developed a minor problem found during a checkup. So they replaced it, now there is a problem with one of the three leades so they're gonna fix it tomorrow. Argh... gonna be real sore for a week this time.

Must be some good meds they got ya on eh

Hey wise, got mandrake 9.0 up and running, internet up, mail up. No sound though, but I am using the onboard sound, so maybe it can't pick a driver. Don't know.

Anyways, next, likely winex. And a vernors!
