    100mbs ?

I have a box set up now with a 10/100MBS Reltek card. For some reason by default it sets itself as 10 mbs. Anyone know how to set it to 100? I have a couple different cards that support 100mbs but haven't had any luck with them either they all default to 10Mbs.

A card, router, or hub on the network running at 10 Mbps, would make your card switch down to 10 Mbps so it could be anything.

This card on my linux box is directly connected to a linksys 4 port switch. All of my windows boxes come up as 100mbs. I've tried to bring just one box up at a time with the same 10 mbs results. I'm not sure where to go from here. If you need more info let me know.

    Thanks

Have you got the card's utility disk? This will allow you to configure the card in hardware mode.

Other than that the 8139 driver defaults to 100Mbps so I can't think of anything else.
