Maximum oc for AthlonXP 1700+ ?

I have an AthlonXP 1700+ DLT3C JIUHB cpu and it has some ocing results as follows:

    ~2100Mhz @ 1,5V
    ~2200Mhz @ 1,6V
    ~2300Mhz @ 1,75V

I've tried 2400Mhz at 1,85V but it wasn't Prime stable. Should i try 1,9 with air cooling? I'm using a Thermaltake Volcano 12 HSF and my psu is an Everpower 400W which is not so powerful. I will have some 3dmark benchmarks on 2400Mhz then drop to 2200 for daily use. I'm eager to read your comments. Thanks in advance.

I was doing 2.0v on air, you should try 1.85
    Nice O/C btw.

    Heheh, nice o/c.

Yeah stick a bit more in it. If you fry it, it's good excuse to get a A64.

Ahhh, you're experiencing the good ol' power curve.
The higher you go from the default speed the higher the voltage requirement. But the
line is not linear but a curve.

    For instance ... my dLt3c 1700 & 1800 will do 2.25ghz on 1.5v, 2.3ghz on 1.6v, but need 1.75v
to break 2.4ghz, and 1.8v or > to break 2.5ghz.

Try 1.8v, if that doesn't do it try 1.9v. Just be sure to try and keep your CPU
die (not socket) load temp below 55-57c.

    I have a Xp1800+ DLT3C JIUHB that does:

    2100MHz @ 1.5v
    2200MHz @ 1.6v
    2300MHz @ 1.7v
    2400MHz @ 1.8v

The 1.8v temps are really really high even compared to 1.7v, but I did run it with Prime for 12 hours and it is still alive. Running 1.9v on air is probably not a good idea, but if it just for benching, it should be okay.

    Nice OC ral.
Any idea what stepping that 1800 is? Is it locked?

If unlocked, can your system do 230fsb?
If yes to both, try changing the multi to 10 and upping the FSB to 230.
