You won't believe I did it with these components, but here's the score:

    13,245

    Here's the components:

    Athlon XP2000+ Pally @ 1.86 Ghz, 149 fsb
    vcore: 1.95, stock multi
    yes.....I need to unlock!
    ax-7 with smart-fan 2 - thermally controlled
    512 Mb Mushkin pc3000 @ 187, cas 2, all agressive
    Shuttle AK35GT2
    MSI Ti4400-VT, no extra cooling
    clock: 320/670, default: 275/550
yes, this is the BEST TI4400 you can buy!!!
WD 80Gb SE, 8Mb cache hard drive

I only ran at this fsb to benchmark, I don't want to destroy my pci devices.

Tell me if your lesser system has beaten this!

    ps: I'm adicted to overclocking.....

Just "a bit" disappointed I said. Once I learn how to tweak XP Pro I have a chance at 16K. I can run fsb higher at relaxed timings, overclock my core more & I've gotta "streamline" xp pro a bit I think.

14K+ nothing overclocked, 133FSB everything stock and stable. waiting for BIOS Savior to do ANY overclocking. Will go for 200FSB and overclocking once that little piece of insurance arrives.

    Nothing wrong with that score???

The speed and Mhz of your FSB matter very much but to achieve the High scores your 9500/9700 needs to get the core up around 400mhz then you'll see major improvements in your score.

Can't afford to RMA another card right now but thanks for the advice. Later this summer my cash will be excellent & I'll modify the heatsink on the card. I doubt I can get a 9500 Pro to 400 on the core regardless. I may just buy a 9800 later & sell this card at that time.

My benchmarking is about concluded for now but looking forward to seeing you on some servers, Dave.

No time to game anymore? I know a very good UT2k3 ctf server & a good DM server. I'm not that great as I just got the game a week ago.
