arggg geforce 4 ti 4200

hello everyone,let see who knows how to fix this problem,i have just recently bought a GAINWARD GEFORCE 4 TI4200 ,But i have nothing but problems with it.
I've put on new 30.82 drivers ,reinstalled 8.1 and 1.9 ali agp drivers for 3rd time on a fresh install
But when i run dxdiag and test direct 3d ,i get this crap
direct3d 8 test result:failure at step 5(get devicecaps):HRESULT= 0x8876086a(3d not available)
tried battlefield 1942 demo and gives me failed 3d device failed
warcraft 3 does not respond
medal of honor works

i have a
ASUS
A7A266 REV1011
1.33ghz AMD THUNDERBIRD

I've also notice that expetool read directx 0,but dxdiag read as 8.1 hmmmm
rivatuner says i have 30.82 install
also notice agp texture acceleration is blanked out
just tried dx 9 beta and that tests alright
this is started to get on my nerves now
any help please anyone

i know it sounds crazy but i have the same problem with exact card and mb but i found to get direct 3d working i had to push disable direct 3d and a box came on the screen saying that this would enable direct3d.tested and it worked but still agp texture is still not availible

I have heard of people having problems with the Gainward cards not working properly. You may want to look into this to see if other people are having the same problems.

YOU HAD PUT DRIVERS IN RIGHT ORDER TO MAKE 8.1 WORK
1: INSTALL 1.9 ALI DRIVERS,REBOOT
2:REINSTALL 8.1 DX REBOOT
3:INSTALL 30.82 GEFORCE DRIVERS
BINGO GAMES WORK
NOW HOW TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO TURN ON AGP TEX ACCELATION???

Download riva tuner

go to the "power user" tab

click "open matched detenator database"

under the "Nvidia Detenator XX.XX WinXX System"

Enable AliAGP and Enable AGPFW are what you're looking for.

I had the same problem with my GF3ti200

Some people have this problem with A7A and a GF, the Riva Tuner fix is what to do. I have the same board but never suffered from this problem luckily.

i;ve installed riva tuner,gone to power user tab
but can't find open matched detenator database or anything to do with enable agp accelration???
any ideas??
