    Question Need Radeon 8500 64 MB latest bios!

    Hi, I own a Radeon 8500 64MB retail and I want to upgrade my original bios for the latest bios availaible for this card...

    I want to solve some flickers when entering winxp or display properties....

    Anyone knows where I can find this bios...?

    do a quick search at the forums on www.rage3d.com, that is where i found out the link, but no longer have it since i switched cards.

    I just flashed my 8500 le 128mb with this bios. Took care of the same problem you are having.

    You might want to make sure that it will work with your 64mb card. Hope this helps.

    WHAT?

    wHAT ARE YOU trying to do with the card,, the bios is basically default in the retail ,, so its not like and OEM that you can flash the bios up to the next level.

    All basically you can do is use RADEDIT and set the card like at 300 Core 300 Clock and make it your default bios.

    Everything you need is from www.warp2search in the downloads section.

    HAHA,,, sorry I dont mean to laugh but FLASHING your bios isnt going to solve that silly.

    What you are experiencing is Aritifacts Tearing. You probably get this by Overclocking your card, Correct??

    Let me know! Does this do this at Default???

    Also let me know what driver you are running??

    Yep, default settings.....driver 6118 or 6143.......no difference.....
