I replaced a K7M with a K7V. The K7V was DOA so I had to re-install the K7M. Everything is just hunky-dory except I get this infernal "Your case had been opened" flashing during POST. Anyone know how to get rid of the damn thing?

The bios hardware monitor has a case sensor, although you may not have it connected, it could be mess'n up a bit, or you do have it connected and it's working. Either way you should be able to turn it off in bios.

    See in KM104 documentation p.42 - look for http://www.asus.com.tw/products/moth...ual_slota.html :
"if the chassis intrusion lead is not used, a jumper cap must be placed over the pins to prevent unnecessary power loss.
Maybe it's activated in BIOS, or you have trouble with Power on Mobo ?
