I don't really know if it a problem or just the way it goes but I notice that I have a refresh rate of 100hz on the desktop at 1600x1200 but it drops down to 60hz in games at 1600x1200.
Is that normal? Does anyone know if it has to do with the card or XP? I know nVidia had refresh issues but wasn't sure if it was more of an XP thing.

Yes, this is a known problem with WindowsXP and all videocards I think. Here is a fix for it.
