Hey, like the title says what do you think the best mouse is? I am not a big fan of those thumb rollers, but am looking for some recommendations for a good gaming mouse.
Thanks

Logitech MX500 or MX700

Those look cool, but what avbout something more reasonably priced? $62 for the mx700 at newegg.com is way more than I had in mind for a mouse
The ones with soft-easy to click buttons, even if they feel light and are cheap.
The ones with a wheel.
And ofcourse a long enough cable.
Would you be more specific please?
I use the Logitech Mouseman Dual Optical , and its just super !Originally posted by answerfromhome

31.00 dollars at newegg
Brand: A4 wheel mouse. Mabye about 10 to 15 US dollars.
All sorts of mouse variety they have, I mean the A4 brand.

Logitech makes great mouses/mice(jury is still out on the grammer), I can't wait for my MX700.
As per your question, get an optical mouse.
If you want a simple mouse this one will deliver.
This is deluxe ,...the MX 700 I think it's worth it.

When I put together my rig a while back I had allocated about 50-60 bucks for the keyboard and mouse , figured I could get them locally. Well the parts arrive and I needed them asap so I go out and about to get them . I cant remember what I had decided on but it wasnt available anywhere in town , so I had to spend 70 dollars to get a MS Intellimouse Explorer . I wasnt happy about dropping that much on a mouse , but I have to admit it was probably the best damn decision I made that day . Very comfortable for large hands (rightys) and is an excellent mouse. 1.5 years worth of FPS action later and buttons still work , must have been clicked over a zillion times. Might be cheaper alternatives but this is a damn fine mouse.

I agree with rustyf50 its a great mouse and fits perfect to your hands, only thing is, you'd better have extra double A batteries.![]()

IIRC, in somebody's flyer this week, I think I saw the MX700 on sale for $39.99 (can't remember if this was an immediate discount taken at the register or after MIR).
I've owned both Logitech and MS mice. Recently I had a bad experience with the MS Intellimouse Optical Explorer USB. It broke less than 6 mos after I bought it. Don't get me wrong, I loved the way this mouse felt in my hand. Ergonomically close to perfection. Oh well, it's broken, so I send the mouse back to MS in all of it's original packaging and they're supposed to send me a replacement. While waiting for the replacement mouse to arrive I bought a Logitech Dual Optical USB. I love this mouse more than the MS Exp. When it arrives, I think I'll give the new MS mouse to my dog as a chew toy! I'm sticking with Logitech.![]()
