This may be a silly question, but does a faster CPU fold faster?
I've tried two different cpus a 1.3 ghz Tbird
and an XP 1700+ clocked at 1..8 ghz.
Both seem to fold at the same speed.

Yes Mhz is the key..not so much FSB..are u sure that they were folding the same protien?
the xp is faster

Yup you need apples in both baskets. Faster CPU speed including OC's to FSB = faster folding. Any XP is faster than the same speed TbirdOriginally posted by Moeken
