Braeden, you definetly have some problem there, with my old XP1800@1656 and Ti4200 4x, and 512Mb PC2100 DDR I was getting 11500 overclocked, and about 10500 stock.
Are you sure your memory timings are correct, is your AGP aperture big enough, I think 64mb worked best for me, is 8x enabled? Do run with performance settings? ie aggressive setup, no AA or aniso. Is your OS install efficient, is it clogged up and in need of a rebuild? Have you got any IRQ conflicts?

I have messed with my settings a bit and got 10112 on my latest benchmark.
This is how my machine will normally be run, so not overclocked imo by any means
Score: 10112 http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=5982206 set at 284/567 as before.
Yes I have the system on "aggressive" settings - cas latency 2 for example
take a close look at whats on my details in that link and see if you can spot anything please...
I will try and collate some more info if you can pm/email me how/where to look

well your board is only running at 4x for a start, does your motherboard support 8x, like the 4200 does?
I notice you only on stock 133fsb, you should be able to get 140 easily (if a Palomino core) and beyond with a thoroughbred core. However, if you stick with 140 fsb you should be safe and that should give you a nice slight increase, as it will also increase the bandwidth of your RAM.
However, short of something being drastically wrong, I'm not sure what the problem is, if you are running good memory timings and cas 2, then I'm not sure. But I think 10000 probably isn't so bad as a stock score for a 4200, with a little FSB increase 10500 should be obtainable.

I have been checking my motherboard out and as far as I can see it doesnt support AGP8x and I cant find out if it can be modified to support AGP8x either
just fyi this is my mobo. http://www.msi.com.tw/program/produc...MODEL=MS-6380E
10k is ok I guess and I will increase my FSB to 140 and see how my system runs
cheers

Ok - increased to 137mhz (system crashed and rebooted itself at 140, and 3dmark2001SE would not complete the benchmark tests at either 138 or 139)
