    man i didn't get a good 2100+ only does 2.3ghz
i recently had a run in with gameve.com and they shipped me the incorrect processor twice and then stopped responding to me so if you were going to order from there i would reconcider as they may try to send you the wrong stuff and still charge u for it
the one thing that pisses me off is credit card paypal, tell me before you try sending it so i can tell you i ain't accepting it

    ?
There are so many variables when it comes to high-end Ocing. Are you really not satisfied running your 1733Mhz CPU @ 2300Mhz? I think people's expectations become unrealistic because somebody/somewhere was able push theirs 5% higher....
Two quick points- thats a 33% overclock (1)
-you'll never notice the difference between 2300Mhz and 2500Mhz (2) unless you MUST have THE highest benchmark scores of ANYONE/ANYWHERE.

    That's not true.

If you fold protiens for example every Mhz counts.

I've got 3 2100's all of em do 2.5Ghz or more. High overclocks have a lot to do with the overall quality of the entire system including the cooling.

Your point is well taken. I think, somehow you missed mine. Congrats on your results. I entirely agree with your last statement...

I guess that covers everything. Hows life on the 'other' side of the Potomac? Awesome day here today- the ice has nearly melted off the pond (!) woohoo- where are my shorts?

ok well i use an ax-7 with a smart fan 1 on it pushing approximately 50cfm then i ducted a 92mm panflow pushing 103cfm and that blows cold air from out side the case to the region above the graphics card right over the nb and right under the cpu
then i moded my case to take a 92mm exast that is like 50cfm ish
