Well, I tried to give the 3.1 catalyst drivers a go with DX9, and I lost all acceleration. I think I may have to go back to DX8 and Omega drivers like last time.

Wait, that wasn't funny.

Edit: I fixed it, all I had to do is install through the windows device manager rather than the ATI setup utility.

Digit-life.com's R300 lineup (including overclock and hard/soft9700 info)

This is pretty much the most definative guide I've seen covering all the R300 cards.

Its chock full of all the info your looking for including ASTOUNDING amounts of benchmark data comparing ALL the R300 cards with some competition in the mix for a few extra kicks
