I couldn't get over an abysmal 11,xxx with the old rig

With a 5,200 in 3dMark03 shouldn't I be hitting at least 17,000 in 3dMark01? Does anything with that 3dmark01 score look wrong to anyone?

Please throw me some comparison links i you have similar hardware.

3Dmk 2k3 is all about your video card's capabilities.
To hit 17k+ on 2001 with your VC, you'll need to up your CPU's capabilities.

agree with ya.... even up the FSB will give you a nice couple 100s pts in 3D Mark2001..... but in 3DMark2003.... no matter how i tweak my CPU and FSB and V-Card.... no much change at all... still give me some "shltty" 3fps in game 3 and 4~!@!~!!

I had this same result till I upgraded from my 1.4 XP to the 2100+ B I now have running at 192x12 = 2.32ghz.
This increased my frames in games 2 and 3 by a HUGE amount.

I would probly get around 17k now but don't wanna push my radeon hard till I replace the cooling. (my core's threshhold has accually decreased and I now get artifacts at 5-10 mhz lower than was just artifact free before)

My 9700 at 365/303 just cracks 5000 in 3DMark 2003. Are you guys benching with the quality settings pulled back? Wonder why my card isn't doing any better?

Probably my memory settings.

Also, my 3Dmark 2001se won't run with DX9 installed what gives?

I've got a close cousin on the USS Abe Lincoln, and my grandmother had a heart attack a few days ago and has been in Providence Hospital.

So you can imagine how stressful my world has been...

At least I don't have to worry to much about any kind of ATTACKS on the Abe
(like anything could get within miles of that badboy)

It is pretty standard to pull the quality settings back to performance when benching...

Not everyone does, though... Just the ones obsessed with a high score I suppose
