I've been really worried about my grandmother. It was a relief seeing her this evening...

    She's an angel.

No problem, I had a bit of a slow day myself, not that much going on on Monday. I just noticed that it was Tuesday now, and I have to be up early tomorrow.

    Happy Wednesday,

Spent my day taking down a huge maple tree in my backyard and NOT putting huge holes in my house.

I hope your day was less work than mine.

Cutting down trees=destruction. Controlled destruction, but destruction nonetheless. Sounds like fun to me!

Heh, destruction of my puny winter-atrophied muscles........I turned into a 6'4" 230 lb puss

I hurt like I haven't hurt for a long time. I spent the weekend pumping nasty water out from under my house from a busted shower drain in a 2 1/2 block crawlspace. That put the huge bruises on the elbows and knees. Then the big *** tree finished me off.

I'm trying to drink enough beer to make the pain go away.

I used a herd of ferocious Canadian beavers.........hehe

Combo of gas and electric chain saws, an electric winch, 6 or 7 log chains, and various other supplies were used. It really was a huge tree. It liked the outgoing tile from my septic tank a little too much and needed to be disciplined severely (ever have to dig a three foot deep trench 40 feet long through 1"-2" tree roots....it sux)

All over now though. I'll sleep well tonight.

    Good Gawd.....
With all that work, you'll sleep well tonight and maybe right on through tomarrow night! (with enough alchohol intake, of course)

I use to work for a tree removal biz for a while, so I feel your pain Nothing like climbing a HUGE tree with a harness and some ankle spikes....only to DROP the damn thing, 1 - 1 foot log at a time.

Rest up, man. Hope you manage to "feel better". (-get DRUNK)
