Yes it is for a DUT3C chip- I can get a DLT3C from Compuplus for 48usd. I would rather live with a locked multiplier than a cpu that starts at 1.6v vs 1.5v.
Yes, but are those dLt3c from Compuplus B cores or A's?
If it doesn't specify very good chance they are A's.

I know for 100 percent that the ASUS A7V8X unlocks all TBred B cores.I cant speak for the rest of the A7V8X versions but the fully loaded ones do.I am now doing XP2600 333FSB oced past XP3200 by 265MHz 14.5x170 2465,so now I feel its on par with P43.2 or xp3300(if made one)

Re: Guide to choosing an Athlon XP Thoroughbred Revision B

carylee hit it on the nail that happens alot just set to 133 caryle said and all is fine.

    This happens with alot.

Hey got the 2600 333 2083mhz now at 2465 went to CompUSA and saw that MadDog has the same 100 percent as the Vantec AeroFlow one for many sockets and cpus with only change being the heatsink is bigger and heavier nothing else and looks like its all I needed.

BTW if you want to know info on just the cpu use WCPUID form here

    http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA002.../download.html

    get the
wcpu330.exe download its tiny, just unpack into a folder on your desktop called WCPUID.Afterwards go into it and one of the 2 green icons there is the ones you care to read
