It was an excellent experience. I previously had 2 KT400 mobos before this one.
If your an OC'er you might want to consider the XP2100, they are cheaper and you'll probably go as fast as the XP2400.
I have had this Epox for a few months now, extremely stable even with my massive OC.
The knocks on this board.
bios/cmos can be flaky, I personally have not any problems that are serious. You should flash it to the 305.
Some cooling mods are suggested if you OC heavily.
I would DEFINITELY do it again, if I had to..
The NF2 chipset is the best available to date.
This is my first Epox, definitely will not be my last...

I am not a person that would just say it is the best, just because I own it.
It is an excellent setup, and am 100% satisified with it.
If I had to to do it over again though, I would get the Hyper-x memory though..
You may want to look at forum member k1114's site, the address is in his sig. Lots of good info there..
Looks good to me.
Might want to consider 2100+ Tbred b and TwinX for memory.
I think TwinX is cheaper than Corsair and I've been hearing conflicts with Corsair & 8RDA+ (not sure...haven't followed that).
I will remember the memory when I can afford to buy it..I already bought the 2400. As you can see I dont OC to much anyway. Truly I could live with what I got but Sometimes Im spontaneous and get a urge to buy something.Originally posted by Tawcan

The Corsair memory you mentioned should work fine. The Corsair memory that is having problems is the LL stuff, from what I hear. My XMS has never had a single problem..
But I gotta tell you, it will be hard for you to resist the temptation to OC your rig.
Remember, these boards lock the PCI bus at 33mhz, and you can adjust the AGP bus to 66, or what every you want. You will do no damage to your HDD's and PCI decives when you OC these boards.
Why run at XP2400 speed when you can run at XP2800 speed, or better? It is VERY easy to OC these boards.
FYI, my rig is running somewhere around a XP2900.
Something to consider when you think about memory.
The only thing you might need is a HSF, if the CPU gets too warm..

Lots of variables to consider to give a straight answer. Vcore, CPU fan, MHZ, system temp, will all come into play here. The AX-7 is a good heatsink, but anyone would be a fool to say yes or no. Keep an eye on your CPU temps when you OC, and go from there and act accordingly.
I went ahead a bought the Corsair PC-2700H (XMS Extreme Memory Speed Series)Originally posted by danny5
