got my DFI KT400A LAN Party board...
im so impressed i could smear whipped cream on my mouse and lick it all day...this board really is a rock solid monster...i can only imagine the joy those guys that bought the NF2 version are having (they dont post because they are still having a continuous orgasm after getting their boards to POST). =)

@TheOtherCamman - What kinds of problems? I've got the same board. Runs great for me. Can't overclock much (Pally core CPU), but runs solid as a rock, especially since I upgraded from Windows ME and put XP Pro on it

Its stable and with the 1.47 bios it overclocks but alas you got to mod to change Vmem and Vcore. I loved my K7S5A...always ran good and stable even though I needed to use speedfan to go to 166fsb. At least I can now boot straight to 166fsb.
I wish I could of gotten a L7S7A2.....great board for the $$$.
I traded a K7S5A and a Geforce2 MX200 32mb for a K7S8X and a Geforce FX5200. I would never buy this card but with the right tweaking it runs ok.3570K/TTWaterPro2

I am very curoius , because I am thinking about the Asrock K7S8X-E myself , just because the memory controller is considerably faster that this ole SiS 745 chipset..... and SiS is STABLE ....

ASrock Mobos are rock solid stable well built cheap and well worth every penny.
The K7s8x is what I recommend as I have fitted several now and had no problems with any of them.
Game over for the competition.
Asrock wins easily, so stop messin with yer crappy mobos and get one of these instead

Biostar M7NCG, liking it so far and cheap (me and the board). Even cheaper now than when I got it since there is a rebate now.
The only quirk I have seen so far is when slowing it back down from higher FSB back to stock, I have to reload default values, not just turn it back down.

I do have a small problem though.. I'm using the onboard audio (quite nice.. first time I've ever used onboard sound before). I've pluged in my Creative Inspire 5300's into the three sound ports on the MB including the Mic. Works fine but now I have no mic..

PC Chips M848LU - I got it to put together a rig for my son. It is really a nice board. I have an ECS L7S7A2 and they are very comparable, but the M848LU board supports 200mz. Got a Duron 1.6gz and put it in the ECS and put my XP1088+ in my sons. In many tests of Performance Test that came with SystemWorks, the duron outdid the XP. They are both very stable now.
