Just used the ratio thingy. In some modes it didnt boot up but i just played with them until it did - i only did it to rule out ram for my overclock failures though.

this is where i stopped last night, ran P95, woke up and it was still running.

wouldnt run this high until i upped the vdimm to 2.7. Now that I have it up there and its stable again, I can probably try higher =)

I know, I know, this is a Barton ocing thread but I wanted to post my results as a comparison for others...

    SiSoftware Sandra:

    Memory Bandwidth-3084 / 2815

    CPU Multi-Media-12483 / 13286

    CPU Arithmetic- 8400 / 3415

    ATTO Disk BenchMark:

    Average Write-53MB / Average Read-50MB
    Peak Write-78MB / Peak Read-76MB

FutureMark Scores are listed below and they are clickable comparison links.

Over Clocking details are listed in my sig below, and all Voltages are stock

Umm...seems like most of you guys are not hitting the high fsb that I was hoping for. I wanted to upgrade my 2100b (see sig) for something that would clock a bit higher fsb. I feel that my cpu is capping me on fsb and thought a 2500 would go a bit higher...what's the deal? you guys can't go 220-230 on a stock 2nd rev. nforce 2?

I think mine is held up with the 3200 Geil ram. I wasn't planning on oc'ing and went for the cheap stuff. Once I found out how well my board oc'd I decided to try. If I drop the fsb and hit another/higher multiplier, I have no prob. I don't think my ram can do the high fsb. I am also stuck, my 11.5 and 12 multiplier don't work. I bet I could get a higher mhz if I got faster/better ram, and the multiplier was fix'd.

I think the 512 cache limits the FSB range. Don't know it for a fact, but that's what I'm seeing with the 2 Bartons I've tested. I'd still rather have a Barton running 200-205 than an XP+ @ 210-220.

Right now I have my multi at 11.5 and fsb at 200. This equals 2.3GHz. I am planning on doing the vdd mod on my 8RDA+ shortly, which should give me more headroom. I know the Barton and memory can do more, and I think the chipset is holding me back. Modding the board could help me get a nice chunk over 200fsb.

12x200 = 2405 on an A7N8X Dx2.0. Can't push the FSB any higher with my OCz 3200 so I'll pick up a 3500 dual chanel kit next weekend. Hoping to hit at least 217 with that.

Core 1.75 vDim 2.8. Using a Thermaltake AquariusII, it's made life a lot easier.

I guess we'll see what happens when you get your faster memory... I'm still unsure if I can expect a higher fsb with a 2500 than my 2100. My mem should, my chipset should, the only thing is my 2100...I hope. I have matched platinum ocz LL3500, so I should be ok...BTW, while I do support ocz, I believe any winbond chip will o/c much better..and straight out of ocz's mouth..."our modules don't respond well to increased voltage on an amd platform....usually only intel"...

Ya, I think I'm pretty much maxed out on my 2600MP, tried lots of different senarios and I have it fully stable now on all BenchMarks, anything higher on air just is'nt happining for me. So I'll end up getting a 2500+, I'm gonna hold out for price cuts on them though
