I doubt it ,,one thing you have to remember is these drivers are designed for OpenGL thats in the newest games. Counter Strike even though its the #1 ONLINE game played. Its still a very OLD game , by gaming standards.

I would be asking Tech Support on this game for a PATCH that will fix the issues , other than blaim drivers that are up todate.

Also they (CS) are going to have to make a patch because what is going to happen with the soon to be released version of OpenGL 2.0?

When you have a card and drivers that fully support it, older games that are popular are going to have to make a updated patch.

    Good Luck!

EDIT: One more question to your problem is WHY dont you just switch the game to Direct3D I know CS can do that through your options and run it that way??

It should run better if not just as good!

CS in DirectX is downright awful. Poor graphic quality (relative to OGL of course, it's an old engine).

The bug is big enough that it should be fixed in 3.3 because the game was fine in 3.1.

The rumor is the 3.3s will also include the improved driver path that the softmod is providing.

Very true to say cs performs much better in opengl than d3d. I have seen at least a 20% higher frame rate with opengl and also a higher quality image. I would be very disappointed if 3.3 didn't correct at least the escape bug in cs.

From what I've heard, the escape bug is fixed.
