Nice! faster than mine.. the guy i bought it from took a couple days to ship , but it was quick once it was in the mail. Comments? Is it awesome? dead pixels, screen uniformity issues, backlight bleed.. anything negative?

Also, cancelled my GTX680 pre-order at Amazon. I'm going to wait until the supply issues settle down and maybe some non-reference designs start showing up. I also decided I don't want a random $500 charge showing up on my CC one day since my credit limit isn't super high.

Ask for a limit increase, helps your credit score as an added bonus.

I looks amazing, no real defects that I notice and back lighting looks pretty good. Haven't had a chance to do much of any gaming on it yet, just got the 7950s into the loop and tweaking them a bit

Epic Games is working on a PC exclusive title.

Gears of War and Fortnite dev Epic Games is getting back to its roots with a PC-exclusive project, creative lead Cliff Bleszinski and president Mike Capps announced today during a PAX East panel. "We might be working on a PC-only title," Capps teased, before Bleszinski picked up where he left off: "Let me say that again: we are working on a PC game."

The panel is still going on, but we'll be sure to chat to the Epic folks as soon as it's over.

Update: Epic Games prez Mike Capps told us after the panel that the unannounced PC project is currently underway, and that the current plans are to keep the game exclusive to the PC platform. Unsurprisingly, he wouldn't tell us anything else.

Done with that Gears of War console crap, and back to what made them famous. As Stone Cold Steve Austin would say, gimme a HELL YEAH.

Its a cool effect. Still, specialty coolants always struck me as such a rip-off .. they're 99.9% readily available chemicals (DI water, ethylene glycol).. its jut the 0.1% dye that looks cool

I've really reached my breaking point with this ZOTAC GTX 580. I really can't stress enough how much I hate that company.

I tried playing a little BF3 tonight and I was having the same issues I had when the game first came out. For whatever reason, the old trick of sending less voltage to the card via MSI Afterburner isn't working.

I think I've had enough with this card and NVIDIA and I may take a break, too. I've been an NVIDIA fanboy since 2002, but I think Crossfire Radeon HD 7950s are in my future.

Got an idea for my next cooling setup

The Galaxy Nexus has been an unmitigated disaster so far. I can barely hold a signal long enough to get a text message, let alone make a call. Since I don't have any service, the battery has been draining super fast. I checked battery stats and I drained 50% of the battery in 4 hours, basically on standby. during that time I did not have a signal for 67% of the time.

I unlocked the bootloader and flashed the radios to the most current ones and I see maybe a slight improvement, but basically its gone from "completely unusable" to now "almost completely unusable". This is extremely disappointing since if this is the "fix" then it didn't really fix anything. I went to the VZW wireless store and bitched impotently at some poor guy at the tech desk. The most frustrating thing is that my only real option at this point is to switch to a RAZR Maxx, which would mean going to motoblur and gingerbread, which would be a signficant downgrade IMO. Still, if I can't use the GNex to make calls, then its not really a phone...
