I believe its basically a ripped version of the GSM rom that was taken during the developer hands-on during I/O that was modded to work with the CDMA version. Its pretty tight so far. The notifications are pretty slick, the project butter changes have a noticeable impact, but its not the kind of thing thats "in your face", unless you're looking for it. Google now is pretty awesome. I haven't spent a huge amount of time with it, but everything I've said to it has been recognized pretty well. The TTS is very good and the functionality is very impressive. My problem with it is that you can't help but feel like a dope talking to your phone in public ("google, how do I get home from here?") but it does work very well. Even this "preview" build seems tight enough to run as a daily driver, so I will be doing so for the short term.

So when searching in the Google now ago you can just start talking by saying Google first right? No need to press a button. Also with butter do you notice less input lag? Like does the phone track your finger more quickly? I know animations are another which is great but I'm wondering if it's at the expense of input lag, which is already not the greatest.

I notice less input lag in general and the tracking on your finger is nearly instantaneous. From what I understand, the GPU kicks into higher P-states as soon as it detects a touch input, so anything thats done with a touch input should be much smoother, and it certainly seems to be
and yes, in the Google now app (can be reached from an icon or directly from the lockscreen) you just say "Google" and it starts doing voice recognition... and the voice recognition seems very good

do you have version 2.1? I have it disabled on most of my "regular" sites, pcper included, but its not functioning at all. the ABP stop sign used to show up in the bottom left of the Firefox window, but I noticed its not there at all now. I've tried reinstalling the plugin and its still not working
Yea I was looking in the specific add-in submenu. the "show add-in bar" is unchecked, but clicking it doesn't check it.. nothing happens. I'm doing this remotely via my cell phone right now, so I can't be positive, but checking/unchecking other boxes aside from that one is functional, so i dunno. Looks like this recent version came out last Friday, which would certainly jive with the fact that I didn't notice a problem until this weekend.
running 2.0.3 with no problems.
Where the heck is that Steam Summer Sale?
Usually comes last week in June - no sale.
Lenny says he read its coming last Friday - no sale.
Guy on NeoGAF says he knows somebody at Valve, sale coming July 1 - no sale.
GameStop says Amazon preparing rival PC games sale for Steam Summer Sale - no Steam sale, Amazon does their sale anyway.
I don't know if Steam is purposefully delaying it or if they're not having one at all.

If Lenny doesn't show up for game nights on time for the next couple weeks, this is probably why:

^^ Haha I remember seeing that show as a kid. The thread you linked is funny with all the one-liners from those old shows.
