Bumping this dead old thread. Everything is caked in a layer of dust, jerky's coffee machine is crusty, when I opened the fridge for a drink some moths flew out and I think the stuff coolme left in the freezer has become sentient. Gotta keep the lights on and at least an emergency drink or two so this place can at least serve as a waystation for frogs who want to ascend to the Hangout mothership

This amp that I'm playing these days, is just a basic amp. No EFX.
I've always liked some reverb in my playing style.
After much research, mostly this video, I settled on the HoF

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_cMpaEDSF8M

The Pulsar is a Tremolo pedal. It adds some shimmer to the over all sound.

And finally the MojoMojo is a overdrive pedal.
It basically pushes the tubes. This amp has a 12AX7 in the pre-amp stage. And a 6V6GT in the drive stage.
It gives your sound more edge. More bite.
I had a TS9 Tube Screamer which a lot of players use, but I like this pedal because it has separate Bass/Treble and a voicing switch to greater finesse your sound.

It's all about tone. I'm pretty happy with this set up.

    I have the 4x10 cabinet.

For my practice amp I have the Crate GX-15.

The only stomp box I have is a Boss Flanger

everything else is done on the amp(s). Reverb, compression, distortion, etc.

Love the Tube Works, Analog input gain stage, solid state amplifier stage.
It's the best of both worlds, tube distortion (and tone) with worry free amplification.

Have a couple of Strat body Ibanez...one single coil, the other humbuckers.

Also have a BC Rich "Rich Bich" in a perpetual state of dissassembly.
