running Norton Personal Firewall here .
With the game trojans that are out there now and after what happened to me with a ut trojan , I wont play any games with out it on , I dont need to go through the aggravation I did in Jan again .

I got my friend to by the game last night and we were playing at my house trying to join the AMDX servers. Well I shouldn't say 'try' to join, becuase we did. But lag was horrendous, it seemed like the Ubi Central Servers or whatever they are called were going haywire. It's about 1:15 pm est time now and I'm going on to play some. Hope to see someone on!!

I remember that. I can play with ZA on it's just a hassel. Like you say, if you punch in IP you can skip whole refresh process.

I keep getting a connection error after playing a couple maps on several servers. Any clues as to what would cause that. I dont run any firewall or anti virus.

I'm getting that on one computer and not on the other. I also think folding has something to do with it. If I stop folding, I can play longer without disconnecting.

Since I'm getting disconnected on one computer and not on the other so I think it is a problem on my end. Which is why come Monday, I will be formating and reinstalling my gaming rig from fresh.

I stop folding when I play, I wonder if it couldn't be the 12 computers tied to the one switch causing it. They spend most of the time just folding but maybe it is when they are sending in work units or sumpin

I have it happen before , now when I go to play RS I will unplug net cord from PC so none of the folders can try to use the dental floss that is my pipe to the net , But you prob arent using a modem so it may be more than 1 to unplug prior "dropping in to a LZ"

Isn't there a way to search for fellow players on any server? It's !1 pm est time now, I'm going on for a bit. I will be on after 10 pm est time tonight again for a while too.

Yes. Use ubi.com (gs4.exe). You will have to install it when it asked for to when you were installing rvs. It has a player list where you can add your buddies ubi login name and it will tell you when your buddies is in a game. Just right click on the name and select join player's game.

We went to join Fuzzy in his co-op game! Only prob is I can't join because the market garden map wont install. It get to what I think is the last file and generates a CRC error!

Just played there. You need to shorten time between rounds.
Sometimes my ready button is greyed out. Don't know why.
