    Age: 26 (maybe 30)
Locations: St. Louis (soon to be Denver by end of June)
Interests: Right now Diablo 3, but I have gamer ADD/OCD. sooo.. if i switch to a new game I get wrapped up in it
Occupation: None (sugar mama's rock) just graduated nursing school so looking for a job
Game history: FPS you name it, started with Quake 2/Half life, burned through a ton of FPS's, last few years have mainly been BF3 and BF4 (negative on the hardline), use to play a lot of command and conquer (but i suck at them), and I'm always up to try something new.

Re: Members and Newbies: Introduce Yourself to The Forums

    Greetings!

I've been a PC gamer virtually as long as I can remember. We got a Vic 20 when I was 4 and I spoke BASIC by the time I started school. When I was 9 we got a Tandy 1000 and after 5 minutes of Sierra's Black Cauldron I set myself the goal of working in the video gaming industry. I started building PCs at the end of the '90s... hmm, I just now realized writing this that I've never spent my own money on a computer I didn't build myself... cool.

In the mid-00s the stars aligned to give me a shot at building professionally and I ended up working for Voodoo PC. I was the desktop build team lead before the HP transition, then the new product integration engineer until they closed the doors. During my time there I built the first commercial triple SLI system, the first quad-father system (Skulltrail \m/), and I was one of the first people outside Intel to see an Atom. I've built insanely ostentatious gold-plated computers and ridiculously overpowered liquid cooled OC'd gaming rigs. I'm even one of the people responsible for modern motherboard trays having cable channeling built in.

All that being said, I've been out of the game for a long time now. I've been in self-imposed exile nursing a bruised ego and a broken heart. I'm done with that now and working on getting back into the scene. I'm here looking to meet other builders and find out how far we've come in the last 7 years.

    Cheers.
